Sponsored Content Guidelines
NASSP follows these guidelines for sponsored content across all platforms, including print and digital formats. To ensure transparency, NASSP will:
- Edit, copyedit, and approve all sponsored content.
- Clearly label sponsored content.
- Use distinct design and labeling so readers don’t confuse sponsored content and editorial content.
- Reserve the right to approve or reject content to avoid conflicts of interest or potentially harmful alliances. NASSP will not consider advertising from industries whose products are prohibited for consumption by minors, including alcohol, tobacco, vapes, firearms, etc.
The following terms and conditions also apply:
When the sponsor submits content for distribution, promotion, or publication, the sponsor warrants that such content is original, that all the facts contained therein are true and accurate, that it does not infringe another’s copyright or proprietary rights, and that it does not violate any person’s right of privacy. The sponsor also warrants that the content contains no libelous or other unlawful material. The sponsor agrees to indemnify and defend NASSP against any breach of these warranties and to cooperate fully with NASSP in responding to, and defending against, any third-party claims relating to the content.
