In 2027, the Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year Awards (formerly known as NELA) Dinner will be held at NASSP’s National Principals’ Conference. This premier, invitation-only event honors excellence in school leadership. More than an awards ceremony, the Principal and Assistant Principal of the Year Awards is an inspiring gathering of principals and assistant principals united by a shared purpose to make a lasting difference in education.
