Run-of-Site (ROS) Ads
Maximizes visibility with exclusive Run-of-Site ads. The Leaderboard (Top), Leaderboard (Bottom), and Rectangle placements appear across every page of a digital edition for the entire issue cycle – including the Content Hub, Reading View, Page View, and all archived issues. When the next edition is published, placements refresh with newly sold ads.

Own the Content Hub with exclusive placements designed for maximum exposure. The NavBar Sponsor Banner Ad and Content Hub Rectangle appear only within the Content Hub — the first stop for all digital edition traffic when a new issue is released.

Per Issue Digital Ads

The following positions are purchased and placed on a per issue basis, and will remain on the designated issue that they were placed on for future navigation.

HTML5 Ad

This mobile responsive ad option gives you the freedom to include text, images, hyperlinks and video across a variety of devices. Full design must be provided by the advertiser at this time.

Digital Video Sponsorship

The video sponsorship option displays a video, 50-70 words of summary content and a hyperlink to deliver your message to target audiences. The video sponsorship is placed on its own page and is included as an item in the Table of Contents.

Mobile TOC Banner – Reading View

On a desktop, the mobile TOC banner ad appears within the table of contents to the right of the magazine in the Reading View. The table of contents, and the TOC banner, appears after clicking/tapping on the Contents icon in mobile view. The top mobile banner appears after the 1st article. Subsequent mobile banners appear every 2 articles after.

Featured Products and Services

APWA’s Featured Products and Services (FP&S) is a great place to increase the exposure for your product or service. FP&S consists of a description of your product/service, contact information, and a photo. You have three options with FP&S!

Product specs:

Headline: You may have a headline and subhead.
Body: 75–100 words, plus short URL. URL must be spelled out and cannot be linked in the text submitted.
Image: May be any size but MUST be high-resolution (300 dpi) JPG, PNG or TIF. Images sized for digital will not work for print.

Digital Option: Your ad is featured in a dedicated eblast that is delivered to thousands of public works professionals. LIMIT eight companies per monthly send.

Product specs:

Title: Product name only (no additional text).
Subtitle: Company name only.
Body: 75 words plus a “click to learn more” URL link.
Image: 300×250 pixels.
Launch dates: The third Thursday of every month
Materials Deadlines: Two weeks prior to launch date.
Limit eight per digital send.

Professional Directory

APWA Reporter’s Professional Directory can give you the opportunity to have a small professional ad in front of our audience in every issue. There is room for your name, address, logo, and a short description of the product or service. It’s an easy, cost-efficient way to enhance your marketing plan.

Professional Directory advertising is available on annual contract only. Rates are for a 12-month period. Advertisers will be invoiced upon publication of the initial ad.

Advertorials and Case Studies

Advertorials and Case Studies give you the option to go more in-depth into the products/services your company offers.

Advertorials consist of no more than 400 words for a single page, or 800 words for a double page spread. Include two to three high-resolution photos with your text, as well as a high-resolution company logo. Advertorials will be laid out by APWA using the components supplied by the client. Camera Ready artwork is not allowed.
