NAHMA 2026 Affordable Housing Vanguard Awards

Package Price: $2,500

The Vanguard Award recognizes new, quality multifamily affordable housing development or major rehab of an existing community or structure. The award pays tribute to developers of high-quality, affordable housing; demonstrates that exceptional new affordable housing is available across the country; reflects the creativity and innovation that must be present to create superior properties given the financing and other challenges to development; highlights results of private-public partnerships required to develop today’s affordable housing, and shares ideas for unique design and financing mechanisms with industry practitioners to further stimulate creative development in the affordable multifamily industry.

The sponsorship opportunity is limited to two companies, at the package price listed above, and provides outstanding exposure throughout the Vanguard Awards program year, which runs from January 2026 through October 2026. Both sponsors will receive the following:

2026

January/February

  • NAHMA issues a press release announcing the 2026 Vanguard Awards, along with sponsor acknowledgment in the second or third paragraph, and ID the paragraph at end of release (circulation to approx 1,500)
  • NAHMA’s Vanguard Awards webpage is updated with acknowledgment of 2026 sponsorship (10,000 views monthly)
  • Hyperlink to sponsor is provided at the NAHMA Vanguard Awards webpage

February

  • NAHMA News carries the press release copy announcing the 2026 Vanguard Awards (circulation to approx 16,000) with sponsor acknowledgement.
  • Webpage application acknowledgement.

March/June

  • On-Site Insights carries the press release copy announcing the 2026 Vanguard Awards with sponsor acknowledgement
  • Regularly scheduled follow-up 2026 Vanguard Awards application deadline reminder press releases including acknowledgment of sponsorship 

September/October

  • Acknowledgment of sponsors in all announcements of 2026 award winners, including press release, NAHMA website, and NAHMA News article

November

  • Acknowledgment of sponsorship in signage at the 2026 awards luncheon in Washington, D.C., and in PowerPoint presentation that accompanies awards presentation
